A new drug has eliminated cancer in almost a quarter of patients with advanced leukaemia, early trial results show, in a breakthrough that also shows promise for the treatment of other cancers.

Bioclues Foundation Day Ideation Competition

Hi all,

On the occasion of Bioclues Foundation Day, it gives me immense pleasure to announce an Ideation competition to solve any one of the following problems:

Problem 1: How to bridge the gap between industry and academics in the domain of Bioinformatics?

Problem 2: How do we encourage more women scientists in the domain of Bioinformatics?

Rules:

1. Ideas should explicitly address and solve any one of the above topics.

2. Winner would be selected based on the practicality of the solution. The idea should be more practical and realistic.

3. Best entry shall be selected by the core team @ Bioclues and winner shall be announced within a week's time after the deadline for the competition.

4. All the entries should be emailed to newsATbiocluesDOTorg on or before October 1st 2013. No entries shall be accepted post 00:00 hrs October 2nd '13

Surprise: Winner of the Ideation competition would be eligible for loads and loads of benefits from Bioclues.org.
